Support the Language Friendly School

The Language Friendly School program is a global network of schools that welcome and support all languages spoken by their students.

Starting in 2019 with two schools, we currently have over 25 schools in 6 different countries that are members of the Language Friendly School program. Our goal is to onboard at least 25 new schools in 2023, and we believe that with your support, we can make this a reality.

The Language Friendly School program is dedicated to promoting linguistic and cultural diversity in education, and we believe that this is crucial for the success and well-being of all students. By supporting our program, you will be helping to create inclusive and supportive learning environments for students of all backgrounds and languages.

Your support will enable us to provide the necessary resources and support to these new schools, including training and professional development for teachers and families, and ongoing support and guidance to ensure the success of the program.

Your support will make a real difference in the lives of countless students and families, and we hope that you will join us in our mission to promote linguistic and cultural diversity in education.

The Language Friendly School was initiated by Dr Ellen-Rose Kambel, founder and director of the Rutu Foundation and Dr Emmanuelle Le Pichon-Vorstman, professor of linguistics at the University of Toronto.

The Language Friendly School is managed by the Rutu Foundation, a non-profit based in the Netherlands. Your donation may be eligible for tax deduction.
