Progression in farming communities

Progression in farming communities logo 1
Agrinas' first activity was helping returnees to start growing winter wheat again in 1999 by providing inputs. This was followed up by some trials with triticale as fodder crop in 2000. At the same time a milk collection scheme was set up to help dairy farmers sell their excess milk. To increase the market for milk, in 2001 a local factory was supported in increasing it's production, a.o. by making cheese. At the end of 2001 an integrated programme was started, titled: Assisting Rural Communities in Bosnia - "to assist in the development of viable rural communities in the Sanski Most area". Early 2005 a new programme was commenced titled: Progression in farming communities - "to continue in the development of viable rural communities in the Sanski Most area".
