In Malawi, we're supporting community-based organisations like Chilungamo to host girls' clubs and coordinate activities for girls. The clubs aim to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS by supporting girls and young women into paid employment through skills training. The club provides girls with vocational training in a range of areas including tailoring, cookery, plumbing, and carpentry. Through these skills they are able to become economically empowered and support themselves and their families.
