HealthNet TPO envisions a world in which people living through conflict and disaster can rebuild a better future for themselves and for others. We give people the support to lead healthier lives and have the strength to cope with the experiences of war and disaster.
Every day, we see women affected by gender-based violence regain their self-confidence thanks to psychosocial support. Our community health workers treat children who live too remote to visit a health centre recover from malaria. We give hospitals and health facilities the tools and training to provide quality health and mental health care.
Through our projects in Afghanistan, Burundi, South Sudan and Colombia we help people heal from the mental and physical scars of war and disaster. And, we ensure that the health system can provide the quality care they need.
