My name is Deepa John, and I am running 5 km to raise awareness for Endometriosis, something I live with every day.
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in January 2024, and in May 2025 I learned I have Stage 4 Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis (DIE) and Stage 1 Adenomyosis. I underwent my surgery in June 2025 and am currently on intensive hormone therapy to so I can manage daily life.
With March being Endometriosis Awareness Month, I'm turning my journey into action. This fundraiser supports Endometriosis Foundation and their mission to raise awareness, improve education, and reduce diagnosis time from 7 years to 1 year.
By running 5 km, I hope to help more women recognize symptoms earlier, understand life after diagnosis and surgery, and know they are not alone. Too many women suffer in silence - this run is for them.
Thank you for supporting this cause and helping raise awareness for Endometriosis.
