Ready for a home makeover?

Late 2011 Decision Analytics members, together with colleagues from Risk and Finance, chose to do voluntary work in the houses of people with limited funds and a small social network. It showed there are quite a few competencies available in the team which are not used in a regular working day: painting, gardening and other skills which can be used in or around the house. No surprise as many of the team members have experience in rebuilding activities for their own house. We would now like to use these skills for another good cause: the WWF. The idea: a delegation of at least five Decision Analytics members (currently signed up are Maaike Goorden, Walter Lukassen, Julien Mostard, Stefan Soeterboek, Wilma van der Putten, Hermen Wijbenga and Eric Janssens) will do activities inside or outside your house for 4 hours. We have reserved Friday May 25 for this, where we would be working from 9am till 1pm, excluding travel if it is within 50km from our Eindhoven office. Think about things you already want to do for ages or maybe a thing you do have scheduled, but you could use quite some help in doing that. No ideas yet? How about repainting that living room, taking out that old kitchen, redoing the garden? Do you have some things in mind yet? Then how can you get our team in action for you? The highest bidder will win! The bidding itself will be organized in the week prior to May 25 (details will follow), but to enter the bidding we ask you to make a donation before May 18 of at least 10 euros. Hope to see a lot of those entry fees drop in!! Note that we will set a minimum bid of 100 euros in the real bidding process, a small amount for at least 20 hours of work!
