Innocis Foundation works together with the Youth Development Fund (YDF), a Bhutanese NGO working to ensure that all youth have equal access to education, meaningful employment and opportunities to develop their potential. At the moment, the YDF is building a new institute: the Royal Institute for Well-being, Education and Research (RIWER). The core focus of this institute will be on Mental Health, Education and Environmental Sustainability. At this institute, IF will play an important role in the Mental Health section. This will consist of addiction care, treatment of co-morbid disorders, family therapy and conducting research. The main scope of this project is to implement the Happiness Model and conduct research to provide proof of concept. The main base of the Happiness Model is to combine evidence based treatment (as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) with a more Buddhist philosophy in order to change an individual from its core and provide a better perspective for his or her future. IF has a psychologist in Bhutan to train and implement on the job.
For the implementation Innocis Foundation seeks funding for the period 2017-2019
