Anyone that knows me know that I put high value in the life of other living beings- both humans and non-humans. The last few years my birthday has started to become less of a day where I expect to receive things and more of a day where I am just happy and thankful to be alive and to have an incredible life and loved ones around me- without expecting anything else.
This year, I would like to do something which matches my values and desires of how I want to live on this planet- that is, a life with compassion and benevolence. Something I've always wanted to do is have my own company which helps homeless animals, but until then, I commit to having a fundraiser every year to different institutions which I feel connected to or simply want to help.
For my 24th, I don't need a cake, or even a gift card- I would just like to collect at least €240 euros for the World Animal Protection- one which focuses on reducing unnecessary suffering to voiceless beings, as well as protecting the amazing wildlife in our planet, amongst many other initiatives!
However much you want to donate, from wherever you are in the world and whatever it is the connection we have or once had, I thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart- this will truly make my year!

Cualquiera que me conozca sabe que pongo gran valor en la vida de otros seres vivos, tanto humanos como no humanos. Ultimamente, más que días en los que espero recibir regalos, mis cumpleaños se han ido convirtiendo en días en los que estoy agradecida de estar viva y de tener a mis seres amados alrededor.
Este año, me gustaría hacer algo que coincida con mis valores y mis deseos de cómo quiero vivir en este planeta. Una vida llena de compasión y benevolencia. Algo que siempre he querido hacer es tener un lugar que ayude a los animales sin hogar, mientras tanto, cada año me comprometo a hacer una recaudacion de fondos a organisaciones con las cuales siento una conexion y a las que quiero ayudar.
Para mi 24vo cumpleaños, no necesito un ponque, ni siquiera una tarjeta... solo me gustaría recolectar al menos 240 € para la World Animal Protection, la cual e enfoca en reducir el sufrimiento innecesario de seres sin voz y a proteger la vida salvaje de nuestro mundo, entre muchas otras iniciativas.
Desde el fondo de mi corazon, les agradezco cualquier cantidad que quieran donar, de donde sea que esten y cualquiera que sea la conexion que tenemos o tuvimos en algun momento. Esto sería la mejor forma de empezar un año de vida nuevo :)
