The SLIMM Foundation has initiated a unique collaboration with professionals from the agri and shipping industry across Europe and Ukraine; establishing a “door to door“ supply chain for humanitarian aid from Europe to Mykolaiv in Ukraine.
In Mykolaiv the goods are re-distributed to areas in the South that desperately need aid. SLIMM (www.stichting-slimm.nl), a Dutch certified Foundation, focusses solely on food & medical aid and works closely with the “Heart for Children” in Rivne and “Svitli Spravy” in Mykolaiv. Both organizations are licensed humanitarian aid foundations by the Ukrainian government.
The SLIMM’s Foundations next challenge for which it needs the industry’s help, is a delivery of 64.000 tins of baby milk powder and baby food from Europe to Mykolaiv in Ukraine.
Despite receiving significant volumes of baby milk as a donation from different producers in Europe, the shortage in Ukraine is so dire that the SLIMM Foundation has decided to initiate a fund-raising campaign of EURO 100.000 enabling it to purchase baby milk (at cost price) from different producers in Europe.
