December 1st 2022 we've lost Marley at the age of 6 due to an undiognosed sudden illness. Marley was born with a chromosome abnormality and a heart deformity. Within days her parents had to make the impossible decision of life or death. Without any doubt in their hearts they chose life and after many battles going in and out of hospitals she came home to the most loving family. Marley was always smiling loved life and as soon as you met her she holds a special place in your heart. She will forever have a place in mine.
She showed me what a real life superhero looked like. Thanks to ''stichting het gehandicapte kind'' she had a place to grow, learn, play and meet other kids in similar positions. Let's give other kids the same ability to smile like Marley always did. March 25th, 2 days before what would have been Marley's birthday, I will host a charity/memorial stream to celebrate Marley's life with her favoritve music.
