# Geef.nl

> Geef.nl is a Dutch online fundraising and donation platform. Individuals, teams,
> companies and events use it to raise money for registered Dutch charities, and
> donors use it to give to those charities directly.

The site is available in Dutch (`/nl/`) and English (`/en/`). Dutch is the primary
language and carries the most complete content; the English pages mirror the core
sections. URL segments are translated per language, so the same section lives at a
different path in each — charities are at `/nl/goede-doelen` and `/en/charities`.

A fundraising campaign is called a *geefactie*. Campaigns can stand alone or be
attached to a charity, a project, an event, or a company. Many listed charities
hold ANBI status, the Dutch tax authority's designation for public benefit
organisations, which makes donations to them tax deductible.
