Geef.nl wants donors and charities to trust that donations are processed securely, accounted for clearly, and reach the chosen recipient.

Secure processing of donations

Donations are processed and paid out via Stichting Derdengelden Geef.

Donation funds are thereby kept administratively separate from the operations of Geef B.V. The foundation manages the donations received and handles payouts to the relevant charities and other recipients.

This keeps it clear which money is intended for charities and other recipients.

Clear what you pay

While donating, you see before payment which contribution you choose, what you pay in total, and how much the charity receives.

If you choose a voluntary contribution, the charity receives 100% of the donation amount you selected.

If you choose 0%, € 0.89 + 2.5% of the donation amount you selected is deducted from the payout to the charity.

Donating safely to charities

For affiliated charities you can view information about the organisation. Where applicable, it is also indicated whether an organisation has, for example, ANBI status or a CBF Recognition.

A CBF Recognition is not mandatory for every charity. Its absence therefore does not automatically mean an organisation is unreliable.

Donating safely to private campaigns

For private fundraising campaigns, extra caution is important.

✓Check who is organising the campaign.

✓See who or what cause the money is being raised for.

✓Only donate when you have sufficient trust in the fundraiser.

Suspect misuse?

Do you see a campaign you suspect is misleading or incorrect? Report it to Geef.nl and include the link to the campaign in question.

We can then investigate the situation and take appropriate measures where needed.

Charities, associations, foundations, fundraisers and other affiliated organisations pay no subscription fees for using the platform on Geef.nl.

The costs and voluntary contributions around a donation are made clear in advance.

What are contributions to Geef.nl used for?

Contributions are used for, among other things:
