Roeien op het water is heerlijk! Helaas gaan wij als mensen niet altijd goed om met het water dat aanwezig is op onze planeet. De afgelopen tientallen jaren heeft er zich ongelofelijk veel plastic verzameld: de plastic soep. Dit is een probleem voor mens en dier en het is belangrijk dat deze tsunami aan plastic soep gestopt wordt. Daarom roeien wij, Mara, Alexz, Kevin, Laura en Mo (s), 8 juni de Ringvaart voor de Plastic Soup Foundation. Door 100km te roeien hopen we een steentje bij te kunnen dragen aan een betere, gezondere en schonere wereld.

Rowing is truly an amazing experience! Unfortunately, we humans have not always taken proper care of our largest resource. An incredible amount of plastic has accumulated in our oceans over the past few decades: the plastic soup. This is a huge problem for humans and animals alike and it is important that this tsunami of plastic soup is stopped. That's why we, Mara, Alexz, Kevin, Laura and Mo (coxswain), are rowing the Ringvaart for the Plastic Soup Foundation on June 8th. By rowing 100km, we hope to contribute to a better, healthier and cleaner world.
