The "Sumatra Wildlife Center" has recently been built in Sumatra by JAAN . The purpose of this center is to stop the international animal trade of Indonesia.
The ports of South Sumatra are searched with K9 tracking dogs, which are trained to look for wildlife. And not without success! We conviscate animals like macaques, leaf monkeys, turtles, birds, etc. on regular basis.
To get our detectiondogs and handlers to the harbor and back to the Wildlife Center we have a very old bus that we will have to replace in a short period of time. To rent a bus each day is very expensive and a rent bus will not be equipped for the transport of dogs. So to save on costs and to be able to save more wild animals we are now asking your help to be able to drive our own Wildlife Rescue Bus.
We need 11.400 euros in total to be able to buy a bus and make it dog proof. Please help us take this next step in our goal to rescue as many animals as possible and arrest the illegal traders. Every donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated!
