Donate for a good cause!

Dear all,

I am Christiana Balta. After 4 full years of research on breast cancer imaging, the time has come. On December 12th, 2019, I am going to defend my doctoral thesis entitled "Objective image quality assessment in X-ray breast imaging" in order to obtain the degree of doctor by the Radboud University.

As a gift, for that day nothing would content me more than making a significant donation to jongborstkanker.nl, instead of receiving a personal gift.

The Young Breast Cancer Foundation is there for and is run by young women with breast cancer. Among others:

• They offer young women the opportunity to come into contact with their peers with breast cancer.
• They offer targeted information for young patients and their loved ones.
• Help girls get support, tell or learn how to deal with tension and stress.
• They organize events.

As a researcher and as a woman in science, this is an organization with a cause that means a lot to me, and thus I kindly ask you to contribute to this fundraiser!
